This gallery primarily contains photographs of the various traction that work up and down the West Coast Main Line. I have taken most photos myself along with some kindly donated pictures from a couple of friends of mine including an EWS driver operating on the ECML and also two of my colleagues, one from Preston and one from Wolverhampton (These are the photos without a full description of location and date). The collection of photos from abroad is from another friend of mine from Preston following his cab ride on the Alfa Pendular in Portugal. The most recent collection is from yet another friend who kindly let me use all his photos from the recent 2005 Crewe Works Open Day, definitely worth a look!
The WCML is now dominated by Pendolino and Voyager’s so I hope you appreciate the photos of the older now withdrawn traction, particularly my favorite the mighty Class 87 electric!
